Control Techniques - Cheetah

The Cheetah SM dc Controller from Control Techniques is now obsolete and can no longer be supplied as a new unit.
 
As a 'legacy product' we can however offer service/exchange units for break-downs. If you return your faulty unit to use we can supplied a previously repaired unit in it's place.
 
All units come with a full 12 month warranty. If we do not have the size of drive in stock we can undertake a repair to your existing unit (subject to the drive in question being repairable).
 
The Controls Techniques Cheetah SM dc drive has a range of outputs, covering 4.5, 6, 8 & 11 amps, from one drive, which are selected by DIL switches that set the correct current limit, the electronic overload protection range, and put the appropriate burden resistors in circuit.
 
Suitable for either tacho or armature voltage feedback and speed or torque control. Surface Mount dc speed controllers are designed for the efficient speed control of both Wound Field and Permanent Magnet DC Motors. Complete with 10 k single turn potentiometer.

Service/Exchange

We are able to offer 'Service/Exchange' Cheetah drives with a 3 month warranty from our 'graded' and repaired stock whilst stocks last. This service required the customer's failed drive to be returned to us before we are able to replace it with a '
Service/Exchange' unit. Before returning a unit to us we advise that the two pictures below are studied in order to identify whether the faulty drive is the 'older' version (with the banks of resisters on the top right-hand side of the drive or whether it is the 'newer' version which utilizes 'surface mount' components and does not nave the banks of resisters on the top right-hand side of the drive.
